~2009 Auto Club Speedway Event Information and Registration~

ALL 5K PARTICIPANTS WILL START AND FINISH AT AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY!

Experience the feeling of coming out of the tunnel and onto the NASCAR track!

The Auto Club Speedway event will take place on Saturday, March 21.

AMA Superbike Race Weekend! After you finish, ALL participants can watch the Superbikers.

Event Registration:

*Event day registration begins at 6:00 AM. Downloads: Event Flyer Event Flyer (Spanish) Event Waiver Event day registration will be available. However, due to the large number of event attendees, it's highly recommended to preregister. It's easy, it's FREE and can be done online through Active.com. <>Online Registration is now closed! Registration opens Saturday morning at 6 am. See you there!

Date: Saturday, March 21, 2008 6:00 AM - Registration Opens. 6:15 AM - Get Healthy California Expo Opens. 7:30 AM - 5K Program Begins with Special Guests. 7:45 AM - 5K Start (SPECIAL SURPRISE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS!) 12:00 PM - Event Concludes.

Kids Fitness Challenge Rules:

1. All events open to the Students, Parents, School Personnel, and Community members. 2. Admission and Participation is FREE! Event held Rain or Shine. 3. Please no pets. 4. Each participant (student, parent, educator, community member) counts as 1 participant for the representative school. 5. Each participant MUST register and sign a waiver in order to qualify. 6. Grants will be given based on the number of event day participants by a school. 7. Schools with at least 65 representative participants will be eligible for a grant award. 8. Bonus grants or prizes will be given to the schools with the highest participation total in the event. 9. Fitness Equipment is subject to stock on hand and, unfortunately, there are no substitutions. 10. All winning schools MUST be present with a representative at Awards Assembly to claim their Rewards. 11. All schools are eligible to participate. 12. Grants will be given directly to each winning school after the event. We ask that all grants be used to promote activities consistent with the Fitness Challenge and it's goals. 13. In case of a tie, the winning schools will split the grant.
